Job Description:
For a chemical multinational company we are searching for a
COMMUNICATION MANAGER
The candidate, reporting to the Senior Manager Corporate Affairs, will be responsible for ensuring internal and external communication plans to increase the visibility of the society and will actively contribute to the implementation of the Group’s Corporate Affairs strategy. His/her task will be writing articles for internal communication, editorial content and press release. He/She will take care of the correct updating and possible revision of company brochures and videos through online and offline tools. When requested, he/she will also draw up texts for external communication and prepare documents, statistics and reports on the daily activity. He/she will develop and take care of the correct maintenance of the aspects relating to the crisis management system regarding communication. He/she will be responsible for the management of the company website and will manage local communication with relevant stakeholders (for example industrial associations, political institutions, newspapers and press agencies). He will support the HR department in employer branding/marketing activities to increase the visibility of society as a Top Employer in Italy. He/she will work closely with the Senior Manager Corporate Affairs in Germany and with HR Director and Chief Executive Officer in Italy (especially about communication plans on issues related to environmental sustainability). He/she will be a point of reference for the organization and coordination of events.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCES, TRAINING AND SOFT SKILLS
Degree in Humanistic Studies/Journalism and preferable Master in Business Communication
Previous experience of at least 3 or 4 years in the role
Previous experience from industrial contexts
Several travels in Italy (especially in the South)
Fluent knowledge of English
Teamworking, high interpersonal skills and strategic thinking
Intuition, diplomacy, creativity
Familiar with public speaking
Flexibility, dynamism, proactive attitude
In-depth knowledge of MS Office and of online/offline communication tools, Intranet and Internet
